For centuries Jiu Jitsu’s sophisticated fighting techniques were a closely-guarded secret of monks, Samurai and royal families. But over the past 20 years, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) has been spreading across the globe. What may surprise people is that Jiu Jitsu is about much more than kicking butt — it is a phenomenal people builder and path to Zen. BJJ black belt and journalist Frank Curreri offers his vision for elevating this life-changing art to the next level and making the world a better place.

Frank Curreri is a second-degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt and three-time IBJJF Masters World Champion who believes that no sport builds children or adults better than Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Frank lives and trains in Las Vegas and has worked as a full-time journalist/writer for the Las Vegas Review-Journal, The Salt Lake Tribune, FOX5 News and the Ultimate Fighting Championship. Participating with Frank are Miesha Tate, UFC women’s bantamweight champion, and Analynn Molina, a high school wrestler and yellow-belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
