Gary Neville blasts Manchester United board for not being qualified to run the club. Gary Neville claims the Manchester United board are “not qualified” to run it and are “playing Football Manager with the biggest club in the world”
Following reports that boss Jose Mourinho is set to be sacked this weekend, Neville spoke passionately about United's board when appearing on Sky Sports following Brighton's victory over West Ham on Friday night.
He said: “I have to say at this moment in time there is something rotten to the core of the decisions that have been made over the last four or five years.
“It has to be coming from the top. If I'm the person who employs the person underneath me and he fails, eventually I've got to take the responsibility for it.

😲 Jose Mourinho will reportedly be sacked by Manchester United regardless of the result this weekend!ðŸ”´ðŸ—³ï¸ #MUFC fans, how does that make you feel?
United face Newcastle in the evening kick-off on Saturday, with the Daily Mirror reporting on Friday night that the Portuguese boss will be sacked regardless of the result.

“At the end of the day this is now going on five or six years and I have to say that any manager – Jose Mourinho is one of the best managers in the world – and I think in this moment in time any manager would struggle in that football club, the way in which the recruitment is handled, the way in which it operates.
“And enough's enough for me. I love that football club and I'm not turning on my football club but I have to say something has to change and it isn't the manager, it's above that.
“And I'm furious that we're stood here thinking that there's a report that's broken out… Journalists don't break stories of this nature unless they're absolutely certain. I hope it's not true, but if it is true I think
