Gary Neville appeared on a special edition of The Debate on Tuesday to give his verdict on all things Manchester United following the club’s sacking of Jose Mourinho.

The former United defender joined Geoff Shreeves at Salford City FC to discuss developments following the announcement earlier in the day that Mourinho had been dismissed from Old Trafford.

Neville also discussed the structure of the club itself, potential successors to Mourinho and where United should go from here after a poor start to the season.
