Smart Greenwood got the scoring going for Manchester United with a goal in the 21’. Paul Pogba slipped the ball in to Greenwood in the left channel and the United youngster used one touch and finished low to give Man. U the lead to start the game.

Manchester United really turned up the pressure in the second half behind Marcus Rashford’s quick brace. Rashford cut behind the Leipzig back line with a timely run for his first goal in the 74’ then just four minutes later he found the back of the net. The match went from a tightly contested 1-0 game to a big 3-0 Manchester United win in a matter of four minutes.

Man. U would go on to add a goal in the 87’ from Anthony Martial by way of penalty and Marcus Rashford would complete his hat trick in the 90’+2 to finish the game with a 5-0 dominating win.
