Heartbreak for Leicester, who had future England internationals Danny Drinkwater (now Chelsea), Jamie Vardy and Harry Kane (on loan from Tottenham Hotspur) on the bench that day. The Foxes would add Riyad Mahrez (now Manchester City) the following season and win promotion to the Premier League & later sign N’Golo Kante (now Chelsea) before their fairy-tale journey to become Premier League champions under Claudio Ranieri was achieved in 2016.
