“When you see the staff happy around the players, it makes it a happy environment to work in.

The 33-year-old is currently playing out his final days with DC United in America’s MLS.
He enjoyed an excellent debut season with 12 goals in 20 appearances and has shown little signs of decline in the USA.
However, he insists he is planning for the future and says that coaching is the natural next step.
“It is something I want to do and am passionate about. It is what I know,” he added.
“It would be a shame to have the career I have had as a player and not to try and take that knowledge and experience into management and give it a go. That is what I want to do.
“The plan for the next few years why I’m still playing is to try and get my badges complete and put myself in a position when I do finish playing that if I can take an opportunity if it does come up.
“It is something I will certainly have a go at and hopefully I can be successful at it.”
